International Coffee Day
October 1st
A day dedicated
to one of the world’s oldest beverages
Last year, the International
Coffee Organization (ICO) launched the first official International Coffee Day
as a global
celebration of coffee’s journey from grower to consumer. This is an opportunity to honor the men and
women who grow and harvest the coffee we love.
Whether your favorite cup of
coffee is served by a barista in a fancy establishment or cooked over an open
camp fire, take some time off from your busy day to enjoy your favorite version
of the beverage.

The
enticing smell of caramel and coffee - Perfect for a quiet
morning or as a
sweet treat anytime
Ingredients
· 1
T Brown sugar
· 1/4 C Half &half
· 1 T Caramel sauce topping
· 3/4 C Hot, brewed coffee
Directions
·
Stir brown sugar into
half-and-half until dissolved
·
Whip with a milk frother or
small whisk.
·
Pour coffee into a mug, stir in
caramel sauce until dissolved
·
Pour frothed half & half into
coffee

1/8 t - Ground ginger
·
1/8 t - Ground cinnamon
·
1 T - Molasses
·
2 t - Brown sugar
·
1/8 t - Baking soda
·
1 C - Hot brewed coffee
·
2 ½ T – Half & half cream
·
1/4 C - Sweetened whipped cream
·
1/8 t - Ground cloves
Directions
· In a small bowl, combine
the 1st five ingredients until well blended
· Cover and refrigerate
for 15 minutes
· Add 1/4 cup of coffee to
your mug
· Stir in molasses spice
mixture until dissolved.
· Fill cup to within an
inch of the top with coffee
· Stir in half & half
· Garnish with whipped
cream
· Dust lightly with ground
cloves
For

Directions

Fill large coffee mug
with 1st three ingredients

Top with coffee.

Add whipped cream and a
dusting of cinnamon
